- The cleanliness of the installation area and the assembly table is very important. There should definitely be no foreign matter here.
- Before assembly, felt and bearing channel dimensions, radii and chamfers, and surface quality must be checked and clean. Burrs left in the corners are a serious danger.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the sealing elements are clean.
- All sealing elements should preferably be installed after being lubricated with system oil. Lubrication with grease should be avoided.
- Mounting equipment with sharp pointed corners should not be used.
- Uncontrolled heating of sealing elements before installation is extremely harmful.
- When testing after assembly, the specifications given in our catalog such as pressure, temperature, sliding speed should never be exceeded.
- If final operations will be carried out on the cylinder after the test (such as painting), it is important to ensure that the temperature does not exceed 80°C.
